The new soldering station is me now succeeded in the soldering of the K-rails:
- the center conductor at the track end had previously been no problem
- the rail connector is also very easy
- to the rail somewhere to solder in between is a bit difficult, but it is I also
is important to provide a high temperature. I have the same maximum temperature of 450 degrees taken. Then it takes at all, until the solder melts. And because it lasts so short, no plastic melts! Somewhere in the web has been recommended for a discharge of heat to ensure by means of a clamp. I think this is not necessary.
I use the solder that the miniature Wonderland in Hamburg is sold. I go because there is no compromise. Of course that's not exactly cheap ...
