The Sunday prayer

A mantra is a prayer formula. We call it the aspect of God to which we feel most drawn and implore his mercy. In singing of mantras in Sanskrit (the oldest and most sacred language of the earth) the intellectual, speech-controlled left brain can not handle the unknown words and surrendered, are finally resting. The serenity of mind produced by allowing an intuitive spiritual experience. The sacred mantras have the power to inspire, to bring to heal. They touch the heart and fill us with love, hope and light.

"Om Mani Padme Hum" is probably the most famous Sanskrit Quote and means something like "Jewel in the Lotus". It can be found on prayer wheels or on the so-called Mani-stones. In the countries of the Himalayas are everywhere Manisteinmauern. Bläubige Buddhists layer them on thousands of Manisteinen. In these stones are often carved Buddhist mantras. Particularly often takes the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum".
The video is the universal mantra "Om Namah Shivaya " to see and hear. The meaning "I bow to Shiva" may be equally important to interpret, "Lord, Thy will be done." Anyone can pick up this mantra and everything can be achieved by this prayer. My yoga teacher singing these Sanskrit words often carry the impact of yoga.
Om Namah Shivaya - I salute the good, the love, the higher self within you.
